Phoennabis is a Colorado-based CBD oil processing company. Their award-winning oil is legal in all fifty states, contains 0.2% THC, and passes all of the laboratory tests. All oils are derived entirely from organically & legally grown hemp (in Colorado), without pesticides, herbicides, solvents, or chemical fertilizers.

Mission & Challenges

We’ve had a few meetings discussing the brand name and direction. The main challenge was to find a catchy (sonorous) name, which immediately resembles cannabis. Also, the founders wanted us to showcase their premium quality products, but in a friendly way, not being overly luxurious.
Some other challenges that we stumbled upon were how to keep the packaging simple and friendly, but still premium with some fine touch.

We ended up with a bold and friendly wordmark, paired with the abstract marijuana symbol combined with the phoenix and drop to resemble the cannabis oil. The color scheme is dark green (cannabis) and golden gradient to add a bit of premium story, while also combined with the light green to preach positivity and lightness. The packaging & labels have been made with the recycled paper, combined with the gold foil for some details which perfectly suits their products. Their oil spectrum ranges from 3%, 5%, 10% and 30%. Glad to hear that after launching, they are already rocking the sales and getting some inquiries from the local organic/bio shops to collaborate with them.
