Inspired by the Egyptian goddess Hathor, Hathor Beauty came to life. This organic Egyptian brand uses only the ingredients found in the country, wild aromatic herbs grown in the Eastern Desert, water plants by the river Nile, goat milk, and cotton honey. Before coming to us, the owner of what’s now known as Hathor, use to make the serums and creams for their friends, and the word spread like wildfire. Now, they want their brand to be recognized all over Egypt, and even further, so they need a proper brand identity.

Mission & Challenges

Two enthusiastic best friends, Isis and Nubia started their little brand in Isis’s kitchen. It’s been a year since that, and now they’ve moved into a rented space with few employees. They want their brand to represent their minimalist and clean approach to beauty and ladies, and also to emphasize the use of organic and local ingredients.

Brand Strategy

After brainstorming about the name together, we decided to make it simple and authentic, so we named the cosmetics Hathor, after the Egyptian goddess of women, love and beauty. Like with most cosmetic brands, the most important was the packaging, it needed to be simple and stand out at the same time. Isis and Nubia plan to introduce their products to stores and pharmacies later but until then we’ve crafted a brand website along with the social media presence.
