How We Boosted Ohana’s Online Conversion Rate by 570% After a Successful Rebrand
Ohana is a real estate group targeting high-end, luxurious residential homes in the area of Hawaii. The name comes from a Hawaiian culture itself, and it refers to the Family, but it’s much more than that. Ohana describes a group of people who are bonded with purpose over common vision and goals.
The Mission
The main objective was to create a modern visual identity that conveys connection and bonding, as a family usually do. That’s what Ohana stands for – looking out for each of their client’s interests in a rooted, personal way. Providing only what’s best for their clients – their dream home and life.
Design Challenges
We had to figure out what is the best way to present the trustworthy company and established brand, without looking overly corporate. That’s why we used a combination of both serif and sans-serif fonts, in a combination of dark blue and peach colors, to get the perfect balance of everything. Another thing that was interesting to deal with, was the idea and their symbol – we had to figure out how to make something unique with simple geometric shapes that will represent the whole family and bonding story between the client and customer.
The Output
We created an emblem logo style that is an intersection of two wavy circles, so it resembles that bond between Ohana and the client – making the strong connection between them. Paired with elegant typography; a mixture of serif and sans-serif, along with the dark blue and fresh peach tones as main colors, it becomes a perfect balance of trustworthiness, positive vibe and high-class.
The Impact
Previously, they didn’t even have a website, just a Facebook page with outdated logo and non-consistent visual identity system. After the rebranding and new website setup, their leads system and online conversion rate already boosted by over 570% in comparison to the last year – that’s what Anthony (the owner) recently told us. Really happy to hear that our clients are rockin’ it! ;).
Connection, Trust, High-End
The new brand identity is a precise, geometrical shape of the hexagon in monochromatic colors with a splash of bronze gold, which perfectly represents the brand and their perspective on design approach as a branch of work in which symmetry and minimalism prevail.
